‘Bagpipe Rebellion’ Gray T Shirt
Bagpipes accompanied any Highland army into battle, and the chilling tone was an ominous prelude to a terrifying Highland charge. The British forces defeated Scotland’s Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745, and both kilts and bagpipes were outlawed. The pipes became classified as “instruments of war.” and to play them would get a piper executed. The British did love to ruin a party, but our Highland brothers would have none of that.
In the end, the Highlanders won, playing their pipes with wild abandon all over the planet,
chasing out the demons and conjuring up their fighting spirit!
